Alex has held the position of CEO at Formula Plastics since 2011. Alex began his career as a design engineer in the aerospace industry. As he gained technical and management skills, he led teams that took part in the launch of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the Boeing 737 Next Generation, and the Airbus A350 XWB. He holds a BS in Applied Arts & Sciences, Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University. Alex’s drive, vision and strong skills in manufacturing, product development and new business development have greatly contributed to the success at Formula Plastics. He also runs the Fundación Elias Mora, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to young students from low income families. When he’s not at the office, Alex enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His favorite activities include mountain biking, snow skiing, and hiking.
